Tiffany Gibson

Tiffany Gibson is the founder and primary consultant of New Nurse Academy, LLC., a nursing professional development and education consultancy providing innovative, evidence-based solutions for nursing schools and healthcare organizations.

Her work is deeply rooted in her lived experiences as the first-born child of immigrant parents, a Black woman navigating predominantly non-Black spaces, and someone who has faced and overcome significant personal challenges. These experiences have shaped her mission to live authentically and help others do the same.

As a nurse manager, coach, strategist, speaker, and educator, Tiffany is recognized as a thought leader in emotional intelligence and leadership. She developed her signature framework, Designing the Emotional Intelligent Nurse, to help nurses align who they are with how they lead and practice.

Tiffany has been featured in Oprah Daily Magazine, Ebony, Scrubs Magazine, and multiple national platforms where she promotes the importance of self-awareness, authenticity, and personal transformation in nursing.

She holds degrees from Temple University, Drexel University, and Walden University, along with a post-graduate certificate in Healthcare Diversity Leadership. She also maintains dual national board certifications in nurse professional development and pediatric nursing.

Through her work, Tiffany is creating accessible education, community, and conversation that challenge cultural norms and empower nurses to lead differently.
